Use steps / methods：

① Take the oil gauging tape tape out of the box

② Open the hook and hang up the plummet.

③ will traverse clip to object of iron material on the ground.

④ Adjust the  plummet and ruler belt to the same direction.

⑤ Turn the rocking handle, hold the handle in one hand, and rocking handle in one hand

⑥ Let the plummet fall freely. As the plummet falls,the weight of the plummet can speed up the fall of the ruler belt, so the hands that hold the handle can be relaxed.

⑦ Use the rocking handle to control the down speed of the plummet . when the plummet fall touches the bottom of the container,lift the handle up and let the ruler belt is kept straight in the solution.

⑧ Read the number value of the liquid to be measured

⑨ Due to the weight of the plummet falling itself, will make the liquid level will rise. so after the first measurement,   recover the ruler belt, until the liquid level back to the original position, then measure the number value after the rise,it can complete the purpose of measuring the depth of liquid.

⑩ Wipe the ruler belt ,plummet and product with the dry cloth,recover the traverse and put the tape measure back in the box so convenient for you to use next time.
