Production process

Slitting: The original steel strip is slit to the width required for the tape measure, facilitating assembly.
Quenching: Heating the steel strip followed by cooling to increase its hardness and reduce the likelihood of fracture.
Painting: Coloring the bare steel strip, typically with white and black primers.
Printing: Digitally and with graduated markings printed onto a white or black lacquered tape measure.
Glossing: After printing, the surface is glossed to enhance the tape’s brightness and improve its abrasion resistance.
Inspection: Verify that the measuring tape is free of errors, garbled characters, and other defects.
Assembly: Cut the tape to the zero mark, rivet the tape head and tail, and slide them into the tape housing.
Packing and warehousing: Place the products labeled with the Lion trademark into packaging boxes, then pack them into larger cartons, secure with packing straps, and store them in the warehouse.
